An Ongoing Investigative Report by John M Jones III (7/23/19)
Mitch McConnel or MitchCon has been in office for 34 yrs., and has only enacted 11 bills, made over $4.6 million dollars, and will get over $3.09 million over 20 yrs. in retirement even though he already has a net worth of over $25 million. In 2014, only 2.5 out of 10 voting age adult Kentuckians voted for him. In 2014 there were at least 50,000 illegal aliens in Kentucky. In 1994, there was at least 3,382 homeless and in 2017 homelessness increased 16% to 4025 homeless which includes so many precious children.
MitchCon represents the entire state of Kentucky which is ranked in the bottom 10 ranking of the best states to live in the US. Kentucky has recently had the worst outbreak of hepatitis A in the nation. Over two years they were given $17,400,000 in federal grants to ‘solve’ the homelessness problem which continues to GROW every year!
Although, ranked 5th on operating efficiently Louisville, Kentucky’s largest city, is expected to have a $65,000,000 million deficit in the next 5 yrs. The entire state had over 20,000 criminal incidents in 2017 and a 79% increase in hate crimes over just ONE year (2016-2017). The poverty rate was 16.7% and upwards of 1 in 5 precious children lived in poverty in 2017. The Kentucky education system produced 25% of the state’s high school students earn the lowest marks possible in math, 33% scored the lowest in reading, and 50% of the state’s elementary students can’t read or perform math at achievement levels when tested. That being said I don’t see how they have a 89% HS graduation rate.
In MitchCon’s state the average person & household made $39k & $61,593K /yr. respectively. The single person cost of living in 2017 was $44,462 which means bills exceeded income by almost $5,000. The average apartment rental was over $1,430 and over $135K to buy a house. The cost of living for an average 4-person family in KY was over $65k/yr. To put the FINAL nail in MitchCon’s coffin he makes 486% more money enriching himself & failing to conduct the peoples’ business in congress 138 days/yr. while the average American in his state must work as much as 260 days/yr. to pay their bills.
The above and below statistics are important facts that justify the need for immediate term limits & the need to be an educated and informed voter. America needs term limits for ALL offices that includes offices as low as a elected dog catcher to congress people and yes even judges. Elected & appointed offices belong to the people, but for too long we have allowed corrupt swamp dwellers & activists judges to retain their offices when they should have been thrown out of office, given a tar & feather bath, and then put in jail.
Support Term Limits by voting for people who will enact them. Voting for people who say they will give you a free ride is just voting for people who want to maintain the swamp and keep the people from having their voices heard. Voting is a sacred right don’t waste it by voting for someone who panders to the lowest common denominator just to get votes! My America IS better than that and it’s NOT racist to say it!
