In America a police officer can not pull you over unless they observe you commit a crime or have probable cause. The police must have probable cause to get a search warrant. The FBI must get a warrant to wire tap your phones and internet activities. However, the democrats today believe that they don’t need probable cause to investigate & impeach the POTUS.
The founding fathers made the impeachment process of executive officers purposely extremely difficult to keep the crooked from using the impeachment process as a political weapon against their political foes. Article. I. Section. 4. Of the Constitution of the United States states: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. (1)
National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, said on their website, “the Framers debated this phrase and settled on this formulation precisely to prohibit Congress from impeaching officers for any reason at all. The Framers were determined to limit the grounds on which an officer could be impeached in order to safeguard another constitutional principle: the separation of powers.” (3)
Imagine that! The framers knew that it was important to keep the impeachment standard high enough to keep the legislature from using the impeachment process as a means of political retribution. It was made to keep politicians from trying to redo a legal election or thwart the will of the people. It was perfectly designed to keep corrupt political parties from weaponizing the process for their own political deviousness.
The ncc continued to say “It is clear that, in our constitutional system of government, the executive branch and the judiciary are to be independent from the legislature. The Framers recognized the potential for impeachment to undermine this principle. It is a well-established legal principle that the power to remove is the power to control." (3)
So, they gave the power of impeachment and trial to the legislative branch but set the bar high enough to where they could not exert undue influence or extort the other branches into submission. Today, the not all but most members of the legislative branch have become richer than 90% of America (3a), put party before country and fill their pockets with dirty money and influence, and only look to destroy their political enemies not work with them.
“If Congress can impeach and remove the President or Supreme Court Justices for any reason at all, then these officers serve at the will of Congress and are subject to its control.”- ncc. (3) This would essentially nullify the separation of powers that gave our constitution and our country the ability to survive all these years.
NCC further stated “The Framers meant for the phrase “high crimes and misdemeanors” to signify only conduct that seriously harms the public and seriously compromises the officer’s ability to continue. If the phrase is given a less rigorous interpretation, it could allow Congress to influence and control the President and the courts.”
From day one the democrats have made no secret that they hated candidate and then President Trump. They have constantly lied and even tried to frame him for collusion with Russia when he won FAIR AND SQUARE and now are yelling obstruction every 2 minutes. The framers knew that one day the country might be so polarized that some politicians would try to weaponize the impeachment process. We are seeing a grave example of this today and it MUST stop!
Rather than let the people decide AGAIN who they want these treacherous politicians would rather hijack nay destroy our system, but thankfully the framers made it practically impossible for ANYONE to politically gain from this process. There has NEVER been a successful impeachment AND conviction. Why would the democrats assume their multiple & illegal coups to take down President Trump would be successful this time?
As educated voters it is our duty not to vote for or vote out ANYONE who commits this type of political retribution, treachery, and sedition! You can start making these slime balls accountable by reading and sending your politicians the “All Voters Matter Voter Pledge” and by following the “AVM Voter Code of Conduct” We CAN take our country back but first we must rid ourselves of these leeches that have latched on to the government teat and who are attempting to destroy our country and who make millions off the backs of John & Jane Q public taxpayer who trade millions of dollars in exchange for votes and who put the rights of illegal aliens above the citizens of the States of America!
